Vuori vs Lululemon: Joggers, Shorts and Leggings Compared

Buy Vuori for soft joggers and lined shorts you will wear all day; buy Lululemon for leggings, and for joggers if you need a shorter or longer leg than a standard cut.

The two brands overlap more than they used to. Both sell men's and women's training clothes at the premium end, both have their own stores, and both sell a jogger, a lined short and a high-rise legging. What differs is the fabric underneath, how each one is cut, and how many sizes and lengths you can choose from.

We haven't tested these pieces side by side for this page. Joggers: Vuori's home ground

Vuori started with the jogger, and it still shows. The women's Performance Jogger is cut from DreamKnit, which Vuori calls its "softest premium stretch fabric", in 89% recycled polyester and 11% elastane. The fit is relaxed with a tapered leg and a cuff that sits above the ankle, on a 25-inch inseam, with a drawcord waist and slash pockets. The men's Sunday Performance Jogger is a mid-weight technical knit, 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane, in what Vuori calls an athletic slim fit: close through the hips and thighs, tapered below. Vuori lists it for low-intensity workouts, warm-ups and recovery.

On durability, our Alo vs Vuori comparison recorded that "DreamKnit joggers kept their shape and colour through daily wear, though the knees bagged slightly after long days of sitting and recovered in the wash." That is the one first-hand note we have on Vuori's joggers, and it matches what a soft, high-stretch knit usually does.

Lululemon's main men's jogger is the ABC Jogger in Warpstreme, a smoother woven-feel fabric: the body is 53% elastomultiester and 47% recycled polyester, with a nylon and Lycra rib at the cuff. Its real advantage is length. Lululemon sells it in Regular (for a 32 to 34-inch inseam), Shorter (28 to 30) and Tall (36 to 38). Vuori's Sunday jogger comes in one 28-inch length meant to hit the ankle on someone who wears a 30-inch trouser.

Buy the Vuori if comfort is the point and a standard length fits you. Buy the ABC if you are tall, short, or want joggers that pass for trousers. Our gym joggers guide covers the training-specific options.

Lined shorts: the Kore against the Pace Breaker

The Kore is the product most people mean when they recommend Vuori. Vuori's page for the current Kore Short Lined lists a shell of 48% recycled polyester, 42% polyester and 10% elastane over a 94% polyester, 6% elastane liner, a classic fit with "ease through the hips and thighs", and 5, 7 and 9-inch inseams in XXS to XXL. Vuori pitches it for medium-intensity workouts, all-day wear and studio classes.

Our Alo vs Vuori comparison, which ranked it the best men's product in that matchup, described it as a short "with a boxer-brief liner that stays put in downward dog, a deadlift and a swim". Lululemon's closest equivalent is the Pace Breaker Lined Short 7". Lululemon lists recycled polyester and elastane for both body and liner, with mesh panels, and sells a linerless version too. It is a training and running short first, lighter in feel and more technical in look than the Kore. If most of your wear is runs and sweaty gym sessions, it is the more focused choice; if one short has to cover a class, errands and a flight, the Kore is the better fit.

Leggings: Lululemon, clearly

Lululemon built its name on leggings, and the Align is still the reference point. Nulu is 81% nylon and 19% Lycra elastane; Lululemon describes it as buttery-soft and weightless, made for yoga and low-impact training, with a hidden waistband pocket. Women's sizes run 0 to 20, and the Align comes in several inseams.

Vuori's answer is the AllTheFeels Legging in BlissBlend: 75% recycled polyamide and 25% elastane, high rise, a 24-inch inseam, a side waistband pocket, sizes XXS to XXL. Vuori says it is for low-intensity work such as yoga, dance and movement, and that the fabric gets softer with every wash.

Both are soft, low-compression leggings, so both share the same weak spot. In our Gymshark vs Lululemon test, "the Lululemon Align showed minor inner-thigh pilling after about six weeks of heavy use." Our Alo vs Vuori comparison found that Vuori's Daily Legging "held up better than Alosoft, with light pilling only at the inner thigh after months of use", but that legging is made from Vuori's BreatheInterlock, not BlissBlend, so we have no wear notes on the AllTheFeels itself. Sizing and fit

Vuori's women's chart maps XXS to 000 and XXL to 18 to 20, with most core styles offered in all seven letter sizes. The cuts lean relaxed, which is why our sizing roundup files Vuori with the brands that run true to size.

Lululemon uses numeric women's sizes, 0 to 20, and letter sizes for men. The Align also runs true in our guides. Where Lululemon pulls ahead is length: several trousers and joggers come in shorter and tall cuts, which Vuori mostly doesn't offer.

Care

The labels are almost identical. Vuori's joggers, shorts and leggings say machine wash cold with like colours, tumble dry low and remove promptly; the jogger adds "turn garment inside out". Lululemon's Align says machine wash cold, tumble dry low, no bleach, no ironing. Vuori sells through its own site and stores and through retailers such as Nordstrom. Lululemon sells through its own stores and site.

Amazon is where they differ from most brands we cover. In our check of who sells 30 activewear brands on Amazon, the first 20 Vuori results contained no Vuori apparel at all, and every Lululemon listing came from a reseller. We repeated the check on September 28, 2026 through Amazon's product API: a search for the Kore Short returned no Vuori items, and the Lululemon Align results were sold by third-party storefronts, not by Lululemon or Amazon.com. Is Vuori or Lululemon better quality?

Neither is clearly better; they are built for different things. Vuori's soft polyester knits suit joggers and shorts worn all day, and Lululemon's fabrics are more specialised by activity. In our guides both brands' softest fabrics pilled lightly at the inner thigh with heavy use.

Does Vuori run the same size as Lululemon?

Roughly, but the systems differ. Vuori uses letter sizes from XXS to XXL, and its chart maps them to US sizes from 000 to 20. Lululemon uses numeric women's sizes from 0 to 20. Vuori's cuts are more relaxed, so check the chart if you are between sizes.

Can you buy Vuori or Lululemon on Amazon?
