CRZ YOGA's Butterluxe is the legging that made Amazon dupes credible, and the one we recommend as the closest thing to a Lululemon Align. Butterlift is the newer line with a very similar name, the same price, and a different job. If you are standing between the two listings, this is the difference.

The Difference, Plainly
CRZ's own description is unusually direct: Butterlift exists because some people wanted more support. It is, in CRZ's words, as buttery soft as Butterluxe, but a bit more compressed and thick.
That places the two lines the way Lululemon places Align and Wunder Train. Butterluxe is the barely-there legging for yoga and all-day wear, with very gentle compression. Butterlift keeps the soft feel and adds hold, which is what you want under a barbell or in a fast class. Our Align vs Wunder Train guide explains why that split matters in practice.
What We Know From Wearing Butterluxe
We have worn Butterluxe weekly for a year for our CRZ YOGA vs Lululemon test. On the hand it is remarkably close to Lululemon's Nulu, and slightly thicker than Align, so it is more opaque in light colours. It runs true to size. The weakness is the waistband, which relaxed after about six months of weekly wear, where Align's still looked new.
We have not worn Butterlift. We can only tell you what CRZ says about it: thicker, more compressive, designed for workouts too. Whether its firmer fabric also holds its waistband longer is a fair question we cannot answer yet.
Which Should You Buy?
Buy Butterluxe if:
- You want the Align feel for yoga, Pilates, lounging and everyday wear.
- Gentle compression is what you like; firm leggings feel restrictive to you.
- You want the tested pick. It is also CRZ's much bigger seller: around 24th in its Amazon category in September 2026, against around 550th for Butterlift.
Buy Butterlift if:
- You train in your leggings: lifting, HIIT, reformer.
- Butterluxe felt too loose or too thin for you.
