Every Lululemon listing we found with a price was held by a third-party storefront. Most of those listings are for one size in one colour, at whatever price that seller chose, and a good share were backordered or out of stock at the time. That does not make the listings fake. It makes them resale: someone bought the item, or a lot of them, and is selling it on through Amazon. Genuine resale is common, but you are buying from that storefront, not from Lululemon, and the rest of this article is about what follows from that. ## What We Found ### Nobody selling it is Lululemon Of the 27 listings on the first three pages of a Lululemon brand search, every one with a price was sold by a third party. We counted 17 different storefront names, among them Universal Gold Group, Trackline Sporting Goods, Edgeplay Sports, O2 Activewear and Ecom Elite 2.0. None of them was Lululemon, and none was Amazon.com. For contrast, the same search for CRZ YOGA returned listing after listing sold by CRZ YOGA itself, with sales ranks in the hundreds. The Nike, Under Armour and adidas products in our reviews are, for the most part, sold by Amazon.com. That is what a brand that is on Amazon looks like in the data. ### Most listings are one size in one colour The listing titles give it away: "Align Pant Full Length Yoga Pants (Black, 6)", "Align Hi-Rise Pant 25" (Color 001, 4)", "Energy Bra Long Line (Black, 14)", "ABC Warpstreme Jogger (Black, Mens, Size Medium)", "ABC Pant Slim (True Navy, 33)". These are not product pages with a size chart. They are a single pair someone has to sell, in one size. If you are a 6 in black, the first Align result is for you. If you are anything else, it is not, and the size picker, where there is one, leads to a different seller's listing at a different price. ### Prices are set by the seller The Everywhere Belt Bag appeared eight times across the three pages: $37.80, $37.99, $50.47 and $53.37 from four different storefronts, three colours out of stock with no price at all, and a fleece version at $66. Same bag, four prices, depending on which result you click. The Align leggings we track were $98 from Universal Gold Group, which is in line with what Lululemon charges for the standard 25-inch Align. The Wunder Train listing we used to link to was $148, well above it. An ABC jogger was $169.99, an ABC Pant Slim $188, and a Define Jacket $188. Amazon does not check any of these against Lululemon's price, and neither will the listing. ### Stock comes and goes Of the 27 listings, six showed a future availability date rather than stock on hand, three were out of stock with no price, and several more were marked as low stock. Four of the nine Lululemon products we linked to on this site had gone out of stock entirely by the time we checked. Sales ranks tell the same story: the Align listings ranked around 250,000th and 350,000th, the Energy Bra listing past six million. We queried the nine Lululemon listings this site had linked to and the first three pages of a brand search, 27 listings in all, and ran the same brand search for Gymshark, Vuori, Alo and CRZ YOGA.
